Welcome to London IVC!

Firstly, some formalities. You should have already received two system-generated e-mails: one from WorldPay with details of your continuous payment agreement and password etc should you ever need to make any amendments (eg card change) and one from us with login and password to access the London IVC website. You can easily change that password to something more memorable in Security Settings under Members tab once logged in.

It's all too easy to defer going to that first event so do make use of your trial membership to try out a few things with the club. Your particular interests are probably your best guide but many find the monthly 'clubnight' a good introduction. There's no need to book and you are not committed to staying all evening. Perhaps not surprisingly, it's when there are a few drinks involved that people are at their liveliest and most sociable so you might consider our regular pub-crawls and wine-tastings. This is IVC - people are civilised, numbers are not huge and it is easy to join in with the group.

Most activities don't require pre-booking. It will be clearly stated when it is required but just occasionally some, such as wine-tasting or sailing, can fill before the given closing date. Even when there's no need to book, as a new member you may wish to drop organisers an email so that they will know to look out for you.
