Membership List: Sailing test Club
Running your Sailing Club
ActivityForum is designed to support the natural operation of sailing clubs, administration is delegated to those members (such as the committee) that have particular responsibilities.
These members can access the membership database from their home PC or any other PC that has internet access.
This gives all members of the club committee visibility of the current position regarding subscriptions.
The system is easy to use we can import your existing membership database and create for you a operational membership system quickly.
Now is the time to try it out.
Resource Management As well as membership fees many sailing clubs have racks, mooring and storage lockers, these are resources. You can create as many resource types as you wish and then create the resource, for example you can create a dinghy storage rack, or a mooring allocate a reference to it and then the member. There is space for two references for each item this could be the sail number or boat name.
Resources are booked for periods you can break the year down into months or seasons and apply different rates to each.
Lockers are much the same, with resources described by type then allocated a reference and then linked to a member.
Event Management
Events are important as income generators for most sailing clubs; events can be organised in ActivityForum for members and for non members.
There is an online facility to reserve a place on the event and for the organiser to track payments. The attendees’ list includes all the details for the event-owner of bookings and any special requirements.
The built-in event booking facility also allows attendance at events to be tracked and reported to supporting organisations.
Once events are open the participants can be reminded of the time on the preceding day can be made and any last minute changes to the arrangements Membership Management
ActivityForum is flexible and copes easily with different payment schemes. Payments are handled automatically with the due dates and renewal dates being managed by the system. Making sure the subscriptions are paid on time and reminding the late payers is key. |
