OBJECTIONS TO PLANNING APPLICATION FOR SUPERMARKET IN BOYNE HILL AREA
(OPPOSITE THE ENTRANCE TO BOYNDON ROAD)
You may be aware that there is a planning application pending for the above and as local residents, a group of us feel that we should protest against its implementation. We haven’t got much time to do anything as the deadline date is 21st July. So please write to your local councillors, members of the development committee and join us on our website for further information, notice of meetings etc.
There are several good reasons for doing this:
1. The location is hazardous one in terms of pedestrians, motorists and cyclists.
2. The site facing the A4 already carries high levels of traffic and the proposed location of the site is likely to create far more congestion than already exists.
3. We already have several very well established corner shops in the immediate vicinity.
We have to take action if we want to stop this happening. Our thanks go to Iain Buchanan for writing to the Maidenhead Advertiser and making us more aware.
