It used to be Gods Wonderful Railway, now its First Great Western which is not Gods or Wonderful. For years the service was deteriorating and with much promise it was privatised now its just awful.

Various campaigns to improve the service have not yielded much improvement. Now (closer to the elections) we see progress, or perhaps this is a mirage.

No point in it all really, the communiting is awful and the track capacity can't cope, now that we have more communters as a consequence of wonderful economic performance this will continue to get more expensive and worse.
