If your New Years resolution was to get fit and healthy and lose some weight then look no further than joining the many regular members of the Slimming World group that is held in the Four Lanes Room at the Viables on a Wednesday.
Bev Bryers the consultant is a very warm and caring consultant. Not only has she been a paying member in the past, which is where she lost the excess weight that she was carrying, but she has also made it her commitment to help as many people as possible to achieve their goals.
Bev has been a consultant for just over 3 years and says that with the huge amount of free foods that are unlimited on this healthy eating plan, the sky’s the limit for achieving whatever you want. With an Original (Red) Day where Meat, Poultry Game and Seafood are unlimited, and a Green day where Potatoes, Pasta, Rice, Pulses and Grains are free to choose from, it really is a healthy way to lose weight. And with the introduction of the Extra Easy Plan, which makes all Free Foods free to choose from, it could not be simpler.
Along with the free foods there are healthy extras and Syns (the foods that you love and may have indulged in a little too much in the past). So, NO food is banned on the Slimming World Plan. And if you think that it’s for ladies only, you would be wrong. There are plenty of Gentlemen in the group, as well as the 11 − 16 year olds that Slimming World can help and encourage to make the right choices.
As we said above, the group is held on a Wednesday evening, with the first session starting at 5.15pm − 6.30pm. Then a second session starts at 7pm − 8.30pm.
If you are a totally new member, arriving at the start of the group time is essential. Last words from Bev is that “the members are amazing, and the friends you will meet along your weight loss journey are too good to miss. So come and join us.”
