As you all know, we collected contributions from everyone
at our street party and came to the conclusion that we should
donate this money to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice
charity.
 

The total amounted to £130.00 and Anne went to see their team
on Tuesday to hand over the money with which they were
delighted and I had a very pleasant note from them
thanking us all.

 

We also managed to persuade the Maidenhead Advertiser
to write a short piece about this – plus a picture of some of
our children! This is published in this week’s edition on page 6.
We weren’t able to use a comprehensive picture of everyone
as we had to make sure that parental consent had been obtained!

and I think they include everyone who attended that
