The planning application for a retail outlet on the Bath Road site Tesco Metro  is being heard on the 14 Sept the application for Majestic Wine to occupy the space on site which cannot be used by Tesco because there permission is for a small store.

If granted this development will generate additional traffic in the immediate vicinty of the site and in peak hours extend along the Bath Road past Redroofs School and along St Marks Road.

Midday with deliveries, although the traffic is light in this Google street photo you can easily see the problem of access to the proposed site alongside the problem presented by the delivery to the CO-OP. Boyndon Road is full of parked cars with no space for the delivery. This is now a constant problem with roads filling up with parked cars forcing deliveries that take place during the day to find other alternatives.
