Art on the Street CIC is an award-winning social enterprise committed to providing affordable opportunities for artists, whilst removing restrictions for those least able to visit a gallery or museum and challenging the environments in which it is accepted to view and buy art. Art on the Street breathes new life into Maidenhead Town Centre twice a year by bringing together over 100 visual artists from all over the country selling their work to a backdrop of performances, live music and workshops. Admission for visitors is FREE. Artists are charged a subsidised booking fee to take part. See www.artonthestreet.org.uk for more details. Art on the Street is the only CIC to hold an elected membership to the Fine Art Trade Guild, networking us with over 300 professional galleries and is the main sponsor of the Berkshire Artists Network. In between our events we are involved in project work including affordable artspaces, public art and pop-up shops. We also field news and opportunities to a network of hundreds of artists.
