Brighton Hill is a mostly 1970's housing estate that covers a substantial proportion of the South West corner of Basingstoke. Britten Road is ine of the larger roads in the estate which has a total of 304 dwellings and was built as a private estate by Taylor Woodrow in the mid-1970s. Properties in Britten Road, like most of Brighton Hill are a mixture of maisonettes, terraced houses and semi-detached houses.
