Phil Spencer, MD of Garrington Home Finders and co-presenter of C4’s Location and Relocation home search programs, established Garrington in 1996 due to a belief that the UK housing market is biased against the purchaser. While plenty of assistance has always been available to the vendor - our focus is solely on the purchasers’ needs. Leading residential property search consultancy, Garrington has two offices with a team of nine, including Phil's co-presenter Kirstie Allsopp. Head office is based in Chelsea and covers Central and Greater London. Our Home Counties department covers Surrey, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex. The West Country office is based in North Devon and covers Cornwall, Devon, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire. Our partners Saint Property Search are based in Edinburgh and sources both city property and country houses and estates throughout Scotland. Plus we search for Premium Property in the South of France, French Ski Resorts & Northern Italy. Garrington work solely for Buyers, both private and corporate, looking to buy or rent property. We carry out the search, handle the estate agents, negotiate the deal and oversee the whole process right up to seeing our clients in the door. Our unrivalled knowledge of both agents and available properties enables us to identify and secure suitable properties for our client’s, way ahead of the competition.
